April 29 Vampire Weekend performed at the Roseland in NYC. It drew their usually cardigan-clad Columbia-prep crowd. There was a surprise visit from Ian Rubbish AKA Fred Armesin, with his bis hit “Maggie Thatcher, you’re all right.” The unstaged show was directed by Steve Buchemi and streamed live around the world, in Coachella-fashion.
