Students in the School of Communications at Hofstra are required to complete several internships, totaling three credits during their junior and senior years. Internships allow a student to work in an office environment, trying out their career of choice and picking up important skills. However, interns are in many cases unpaid leaving transportation costs up to the student to cover along with the cost of Hofstra University Credits.
